Obituary of Margaret M. Martinson
Florence: Margaret M. Martinson, age 85 of Florence, New Jersey departed this life on Monday, February 13, 2023 at her home in the company of her loving family. Mrs. Martinson was born in Trenton to the late William H. and Anna Septak Richards. She resided in Trenton before calling Florence her home for the past 30 years. Margaret retired from The Lawrenceville School in Lawrence Township where she was a cook for 30 years. Mrs. Martinson was a member of Mary Mother of the Church Parish and St. Mary's Church Prayer Group, former member of St. Clare's Parish in Florence and the Good Neighbors Senior Citizens. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life which included watching Jeopardy and the Food Channel Network. Margaret was a talented and exceptional cook both at home and during her career in food service. She often delighted the members of St. Mary’s Prayer Group with her culinary delights. Beside her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Martinson and is survived by her children and their spouses, Teresa and Brian Parise, Kathy and John Bartosh and Robert and Noemi Caiazzo, her brother, Joseph Richards, who Margaret helped raise, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2023 at Mary Mother of the Church Parish ~ St. Mary's Worship Site, 45 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown with Rev. Cesar Anson officiating. Family and friends are invited to meet 10:45 AM at the church for a eulogy. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Florence.
