My condolences to Donna and Tim's entire family. As a colleague of Tim I knew him as a passionate and capable NJEA Field Representative. My fond memories include discussing Tim's love of boating and sitting next to him for days during a very intense NEA training in California. Above all he was a good man. Chris Berzinski

I am so saddened to hear of Tim’s passing…in addition to my memories of Tim from my teenage years, I knew Tim from our shared NJEA employment experiences. The Ryan family is a rightfully proud one and Tim was a big part of that. My sincerest condolences to Donna, Danny, Betsy and the entire Ryan family. Colleen

I am saddened to learn of Tim’s passing. We were colleagues as both part-time consultants and later full-time field reps with the NJEA. My sincere condolences and prayers go out to the Ryan family. May the passing of time bring about only pleasant memories.

I am so sorry to hear of Tim's passing. We worked together to help so many locals - he the Field Rep and me the Communications person. Our biggest challenge was the strike in Hamilton Township. Tim worked his heart out to get the members a good contract. Due to a series of incidents, we had to move from hotel to hotel during the strike and there were times when people couldn't find us. Tim was a good man and he will surely be missed.

I am so very sorry to hear of sweet Tim's passing. I served as principal of Lawrence, Boudinot and Smith Schools during the time Tim was spreading his musical Spanish joy! His dedication to both the excellence of education and to our students was clearly evident each time he visited. Though he is absent from us, his legacy lives on in the lives of so many students and staff members. God's blessings on your family as you remember his life with love.

So sad to hear about Tim’s passing. He was a great leader for all of us at Burlington City School district. He was a kind gentle person but always fought for what was right. When he retired from City he was went to work with the NJEA and that’s how my husband met him. He worked with my husband numerous times on different issues with Mercer County Voc -Tech. His legacy in education will always live on. Rest In Peace Tim and deepest sympathy to your family!

Dear Donna and family,
Like so many others I was saddened to learn of Tim's passing. He was a larger than life guy who was forever loyal to his family, friends, and those he represented in the City of Burlington Education Association. His passion and knowledge were unequaled. I learned so much about contract negotiations from him and being able to find common ground to resolve disputes. May Timmy find a seat at the table next to Dom Cicali and Jim McAndrew in the next life. Rest if God's eternal peace. With deepest sympathy, Anita Stoy

Tim….. always a smile and a laugh. You worked for our union and for teachers in general. We are grateful for your dedication. Most of all, I remember the joy and excitement my entire class felt when they knew you were coming into our second grade class to teach us some Spanish and play your guitar. What a special treat!! Rest easy, my friend, we are forever in your debt. ❤️☘️

Dad and I were two peas in a pod. From our love of naps to walking the fields or working on a craft together, Dad was the jack of all trades. Dad’s creativity is evident in all of his wood carvings, carved signs, and birdhouses throughout our home. He made dozens of hand-carved wooden roosters for my wedding and we painted them together. I was always calling Dad to ask him how to fix or drill or troubleshoot a problem. He taught me so much and I’ll be forever grateful to him and will miss him forever. ❤️
