Savannah… although we have not spoken in years, I think of you often. I should have reached out. I thought we had time. We were born two weeks apart, and we met during that strange period of life where you’re not a kid anymore but you’re not quite on to the next stage… you’re learning who you are while dealing with all life has thrown at you. Together, we tried to cope. Somehow we made it through. We drifted apart as life went on, but I never forgot you. You are so loved and I will remember you for the rest of my life.
