Obituary of Gloria A. Flannery
Burlington: Gloria A. Schwartz Flannery age 82 of Burlington, New Jersey entered into her eternal life on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Mrs. Flannery was born in Hazelton, PA to the late Stanley Schwartz and Barbara Sepnefski Schwartz. She resided in Edison before moving to Burlington 22 years ago. Mrs. Flannery was the office manager for Littman Jewelers in Edison before retiring after 40 years of dedicated and loyal service. Gloria will be affectionately remembered for her belief, trust and loyalty to God. Her devotion to her faith was the center of her daily life. She enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband and spending quality time with her family. Gloria was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mom mom, sister and friend. Mrs. Flannery was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, All Saints Church in Burlington, the Altar Rosary Society and Young at Heart Club of the church and volunteered her time and talents to the church. She also was a volunteer at the Virtua Memorial Hospital Thrift Shop in Mount Holly. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Flannery Sr. in 2015, daughter, Kathleen Lowery, grandsons, Louis and Brian Makker, great grandchild, Jackson Carr and brother, Richard Schwartz. She is survived by her children and spouses, Maureen and Michael Kelly, Joseph M. Jr. and Ruth Flannery, John and Joanne Flannery and Rosemary and Louis Makker, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, siblings, Ronald Schwartz and Alice and Stanley Schwartz and Pam and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish ~ All Saints Worship Site 502 High Street, Burlington with Rev. Jerome Guld officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling. Entombment will be in Laurel Hill Mausoleum, Burlington. Facial coverings are required at the funeral home and at the church. Gloria's family is grateful for everyone's cooperation.
