Obituary of Stella Rodica Durle
Lower Makefield Township: Stella Rodica Durle, age 86 of Lower Makefield Township entered into her eternal life on Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home in the presence of her loving family. Mrs. Durle was born in Romania to the late Brian Banks and Aurelia Stoika Banks. She resided in Levittown before moving to Lower Makefield Township 11 years ago. Mrs. Durle was a retired secretary for the State of New Jersey Office of Management and Budget in Trenton with 15 years of dedicated service. Stella's devout faith was the center of her life. This devotion enabled her to provide a loving home for her children and husband and succeed in achieving her culinary expertise. Her most pleasurable times were spent with her family. She was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown, Pa. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, John Stefanache and aunt, Constance. Stella is survived by her husband of 59 years, Albert R. Durle, her children and their spouses, Theresa and Michael Strenge, John and Lisa Durle, Joseph and Tami Durle, Paul and Catherine Durle and Anthony and Laura Durle, 29 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Julie Fysz. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Byzantine Romanian Catholic Church, Alden Avenue, Roebling, New Jersey with Rev. George David officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Interment will be in St. Basil Byzantine Romanian Catholic Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
