

Obituary of Barbara B. Durham
Barbara Bishop Garganio Durham, formerly of Florence, New Jersey and more recently residing in the Wiley Christian Retirement Community in Marlton, New Jersey passed away into God's loving and eternal care on Saturday, March 27, 2021. She was 87. Barbara was employed by John A. Roebling Steel Corporation in Trenton, De Laval in Florence and was the librarian for the Florence Township Library for many years. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Florence. She taught many Sunday school classes and was active with the missionary program of the church. Her faith was central to her life. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and usually had an afghan project in the works. Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Martha Bishop, her first husband, Raymond Garganio and her second husband, Arthur Durham. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ray and Nancy Garganio and Bruce and Linda Garganio, her grandchildren, Sean and Molly Garganio, Kristen Garganio and Brian Ritter, Lauren Garganio, Kelly Garganio and Scott Phillips and Brian Garganio, her great grandchildren, Morgan and Noah. Funeral services will be Thursday 12:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Rev. Thomas R. Beard officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence. Social distancing will be in effect. Facial coverings are required. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Wiley Christian Retirement Community, 99 East Main St., Marlton, NJ 08053.
