

Obituary of Michael A. Arnao
On March 7, 2021, USAAF Msgt. Michael Anthony Arnao of Lumberton, NJ passed away at the age of 68 years old.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Barbara, mother, Catherine, children, Michelle (Michael), Nicole (Hugh), Tara (Mark), and Anthony (Sara), his grandchildren, Mark (Natalie), Megan, Richard, Joshua, Michael, Gabrielle, Abigail, Mallory, Talia, Elaina, Vivian, Jacob, and Charles, great-grandchild, Scarlett, brothers, Charles (Julia) and Christopher as well as numerous sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, family members, co-workers, and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles and grandson, George Garman.
Originally from Burlington City, NJ, Mike enlisted in the US Air Force in 1972 and served until 1980. In 1981 he served in the 108th Air National Guard for 31 years as a well-respected airman. In addition to his military career, Mike was a beloved foster-father. He also volunteered as a softball and baseball coach. He was an avid softball player, lover of jazz music, world-traveler and dependable chauffeur. He was well-known for his generosity and willingness to always help others.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ 08554. Funeral services and final disposition will be held privately. Social distancing and gathering restrictions will be in effect. All visitors will be required to wear a facial covering.
