

Obituary of Joseph P. "Joe" Bartha
Burlington Township: Joseph P. "Joe" Bartha, age 86 of Burlington Township went home to the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2019 while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bartha was born in Roebling and was the son of the late Berthalan and Ester Katona Bartha. He resided in Roebling and Mount Laurel before moving to Burlington Township a few years ago. Mr. Bartha retired as a chief lineman for P S E & G in Moorestown after more than 40 years of dedicated service. Joseph was a quiet man who was committed to his faith and the one who was a role model for others by his shining example. He enjoyed bowling, playing a round of golf and bow hunting. His family was his priority in life and the center of his existence. Joe was highly respected and admired and will continue to be affectionately remembered by his family and friends as "The Best". Mr. Bartha was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Roebling serving as past treasurer for 25 years and an elder of the church. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Berthalan, Esther, Helen and Rose. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bertha Bowker Bartha, his children and spouse, Nancy & Ted D'Annunzio and Jeanette Bartha, grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa and Dominic D' Marcello and TJ and Courtney D'Annunzio, great grandchildren, Allison Rose, Gianna Grace, Leo Terige and Enzo Gabriele, brother and sister-in-law, James and Susan Bartha and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 12:00 PM in the Hungarian Reformed Church of Roebling, 140 Norman Avenue, Roebling, NJ with Rev. Garey Hope officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township, NJ.
