Obituary of John M. "Mike" Ivanisik

Bordentown Twp. John M. "Mike" Ivanisik, age 73 of Bordentown Township passed away on Thursday at home in the presence of his family. Mr. Ivanisik was born in Germany on April 6, 1946 and was the son of the late John and Matrona Iwanisik. Mike lived in Bordentown for 47 years. He was the proprietor of John M. Ivanisik Concrete for 43 years. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1964 and Rider College in 1971 with a marketing degree. He retired as a Chief Master Sgt. from the New Jersey Air National Guard at McGuire Air Force Base during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm with 23 years of honorable service to our country. Mike was a member of St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. He relished spending time with his family, friends and the Galoopers and also enjoyed traveling and vacationing on cruise lines. Mr. Ivanisik was also predeceased by his brother Mykola Iwanisik and sister Eugenia Iwanisik. He is survived by his wife Patricia Heaney Ivanisik, his children and their spouses, Michael & Jennifer Iwanisik, Joseph & Robyn Ivanisik, Jennifer & David Rumsey and Katherine & Eric Freed, grandchildren, Ava, Joey, Ayden, Liam, Lucas, Cameron, Colton & Owen. Funeral will be Wednesday 10 AM at St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 839 Yardville Allentown Rd. Yardville. Interment will be in Bordentown Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8:30 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave. Roebling. Panahida services will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Rt. Rev. Petro Levko officiating.
