Obituary of Edward C. Nolan

Lumberton Township: Edward C. Nolan, age 87 of Lumberton died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Virtua Health & Rehabilitation Center, Lumberton Township. Mr. Nolan was born in New York City and was the son of the late James and Teresa Kealy Nolan. He resided in Metuchen and Homestead at Mansfield before moving to Lumberton Township recently. Edward was a retired office manager, employed by Raritan Oil Company in Elizabeth, NJ and served honorably in the U S Army during the Korean War. Mr. Nolan was a member of Holy Assumption Church, Roebling, former member of Our Lady of Peace, Fords, NJ and the Holy Name Society of the church. Predeceased by his wife, Carol A. Nolan, son-in-law, James Jones, grandchild, Sara Jones and siblings, James, John, Raymond, Patricia & Theresa. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Teresa Jones, Catherine & Bob McGinley and Edward & Denise Nolan, grandchildren, James, Robert, Stephanie, Ryan & Brittany, great grandchildren, Lorelei, Saoirse & James, sister, Ursula Cashin and many nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 11:00 AM at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Interment will be in Holy Assumption Cemetery, Roebling.
