Obituary of Patrick J. McCann

East Windsor Township: Patrick J. McCann, age 87 of East Windsor Township passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at his home. Mr. McCann was born in New York City and was the son of the late William and Katherine Kerrigan McCann. He was a retired systems analyst, employed by Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City with many years of dedicated service and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Patrick resided in New York City and Homestead at Mansfield before moving to East Windsor Township in 2001. He mastered a very active lifestyle and delighted in both playing and watching sports, notably golf. In addition to playing golf, Patrick demonstrated his skills with bowling, bocce, croquet and tennis and was a spirited New York Yankee baseball enthusiast. Patrick's family made his world complete. He was predeceased by his wife, Mariette Elsas McCann and son, Patrick McCann. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell J. & Ellen McCann, daughter-in-law, Linda McCann, grandchildren, Michael, Megan, Jaclyn, and Connor, great grandchild, Declan McDermott, brother, Tom McCann, sister, Maureen Seymour and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10:00 AM at Holy Assumption Church, 1290 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Friends may call Thursday from 8:00AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Interment will be in Holy Assumption Cemetery, Roebling.
