Obituary of Richard C. Woolston

Westampton: Richard C. Woolston, age 89 of Westampton passed away Thursday at home in the presence of his loving family. Mr. Woolston was born and raised on Fourth Street in Florence and resided there until he moved to Westampton 39 years ago. He was a 1948 graduate of Florence Township Memorial High School, where he lettered in baseball and football. Richard was the proprietor of Richard Charles, Inc. and took great pride in constructing custom homes and was committed to his ability and work ethic. Richard served his country with honor in the US Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the Florence Township Volunteer Fire Company #1. Mr. Woolston was the son of the late John A. and Anna J. Clyde Woolston and is survived by his wife of 40 years, Evelyn Crosby Woolston, his children and their spouses, Dave and Jenna Woolston, Richard and Patti Woolston, Charles and Lisa Frame and Beverly and Tony Chabalowski, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Jeff Krusen, grandchildren and spouses, Paige and Paul, Reece and Nina, David Jr., Daniel, John, Kate, Caitlia, Courtney, Carly, Thomas and Matthew, great grandchildren, Rylee, Cooper, Brooks, Rhett, Savannah, Harper, Austin, Dominic and Lillie. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00 AM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Rev. Ivo Meilands officiating. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Masonic services will be Monday 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Florence Township Chapter of Deborah, P.O. Box 254, Roebling, NJ 08554.
