Obituary of Darrell E. Soltesz

Roebling: Darrell E. Soltesz, age 60 of Roebling passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May15, 2019 listening to the Allman Brothers. Mr. Soltesz was born in Trenton and was the son of the Elmer Soltesz. He resided in Roebling most of his life. Darrell was a professional drummer, who beat to his own drum and played all genres of music. He is survived by his children, Zach Soltesz and Elicia Soltesz, his mother, Elizabeth Csogi Soltesz, sister and brother-in-law, Melanie & John Pielacha, his nieces and godchildren, Mariah & Savannah, beloved partner of 14 years, Donna Drummond, several cousins, good friends and music affiliations. A memorial service will be Tuesday 7:00 PM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Rev. Garey Hope officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Final disposition will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in memory of Darrell Soltesz in support of the Dr. Edith Mitchell Research Fund at Jefferson.
