Obituary of Jean E. Mullen

Roebling: Jean E. Mullen, age 88 of Roebling passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Mullen was born in Bordentown and was the daughter of the late John L. and Elizabeth M. Hodson Lawrence. She resided in Roebling most of her life. Jean was a retired office manager, employed by Agway, Inc. Bordentown, NJ with more than 35 years of service. She will be affectionately remembered as a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She baked for the pumpkin bread sale at her church as well as volunteering with her husband Parker for the Ethnic Festival and church dinners at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Roebling. Mrs. Mullen was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Roebling. She was predeceased by her son, Larry Mullen, and is survived by her husband of 66 years, Maurice Parker Mullen, her children and their spouses, Jim & Maria Mullen and Kevin & Buffy Mullen, grandchildren, Larry Jr., Michael, Heather, James, Branden, Lawrence, Abigail, Amy & Ken, great grandchildren, Emily, April, Logan, Ty, Jaxon, Brooklyn, Abel, Amos & Issac, sister, Betty Ashmore and her extended Mullen family. Funeral services will be Monday 10:00 AM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Pastor McWilliam Colon officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 4 - 6 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence.
