Obituary of Frances G. "Fran" Hatalovsky

Roebling: Frances G. "Fran" Hatalovsky, age 86 of Roebling died Friday at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hatalovsky was born in Newark, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Edward and Julia Schreiner Gorsky. She resided in Florence Township most of her life. Fran was a retired administrative assistant, employed by the Social Security Administration in Lumberton, with over forty years of dedicated service. She always put the needs of the individuals she served before her own simply because she enjoyed helping others. Fran will be affectionately remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Some of her most enjoyable times were spent with her family. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, bow hunting and baking. Fran baked some of the best Christmas cookies and baked goods in Roebling. Mrs. Hatalovsky found simple pleasure in watching the sun rise and set, the changing seasons and all aspects of nature. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling, former member of the Holy Assumption School PTA and the Florence Township Memorial High School Band Boosters, being one of their most loyal fans. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Bernice and is survived by her husband of 65 years, John "Honny" Hatalovsky, son & daughter-in-law, John Hatalovsky Jr. & Anne Marie Giambrone, daughter, Janice Hatalovsky, grandchildren, Kristen Affrime (Daniel), Aliesha Marie Giambrone-Hatalovsky and Noelle Juliet Giambrone-Hatalovsky, brother, Edward Gorsky (Rossanne), sister, Rosemary Eastburn (Bill) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:00 AM at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Rev. Yuriy Oros officiating. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 191 Norman Avenue, Roebling, NJ 08554. Condolences may be sent to
