Obituary of Joseph E. "Joey" Leffler Jr.

Florence Township: Joseph E. "Joey" Leffler Jr., age 41 of Florence passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018. Mr. Leffler was born in Somerville, NJ and resided in Florence Township most of his life. He attended the Life Center Academy, was a 1995 graduate of Florence Township Memorial High School and a 1997 graduate of De-Vry Institute in North Brunswick. Joseph was the owner and operator, along with his parents, Joseph Sr. and Karen Leffler of HI-TEK Elevator Solutions. The love of his life was being saved and knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. Joseph loved his parents and especially enjoyed working with his father. Some of his most pleasurable times were spent fishing, golfing, boating and relaxing on his boat at Curtain's Marina. Joey's passion for the New York Giants enabled him to become a season ticket holder at Giant Stadium and not only attend the games, but experience the excitement of tailgating with his friends. He was a member of the Fountain of Life Center in Florence Township. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Catherine Picklo Glenn & James E. Glenn, paternal grandparents, Amanda Custer Leffler & Lester Leffler and is survived by his parents, Joseph E. Sr. & Karen Wilson Leffler and many aunts, uncles & cousins. The funeral service will be Wednesday 10:00 AM at the Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Florence Township, NJ with Pastor David Boudwin and Pastor Russ Hodgins officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in the Reformed Church at Readington Cemetery, Readington, NJ. Floral arrangements would be appreciated and accepted.
