Obituary of George Trembula

Florence: George M. Trembula, age 69 of Florence died at home peacefully. Mr. Trembula was born in Roebling and was the son of the late George M. and Mary Bires Trembula. He resided in Florence Township and Burlington lifelong. George retired from PolyOne Corporation, Florence Township with 35 years of dedicated service. He was a former Burlington City Little League Baseball coach and a member of the Roebling Historical Society. Some of his most enjoyable times were spent walking the Wildwood boardwalk, playing arcade games, playing skee ball, going to car shows and traveling to the Poconos. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Mr. Trembula was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Roebling and was very active with the Ethnic Festival sponsored by the church. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda L. Spence Trembula and is survived by his children and their spouses, Steven & Vicki Trembula and Lori & Bob Klapp, Pop Pop to, Gideon, Angelina & Ty, sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Vasile Ceascai, nieces, Michelle Ceascai and Christina & Anthony Barberio, great nephew, Luca Barberio and his favorite canine companion, Penny. Office of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Roebling with Rev. Yuriy Oros officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 AM until church departure at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling, NJ. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Mansfield Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 191 Norman Ave., Roebling, NJ 08554.
