Obituary of Michael Neylan Sr.
Mount Laurel Twp., Michael Kevin Neylan, Sr., age 70 of Mount Laurel passed away Sunday at Virtua-West Jersey Hospital. Mr. Neylan was born in Trenton and was the son of the late William and Ellen Mae Porter Neylan. Mr. Neylan resided in Mount Laurel and was formerly of Florence and Bordentown. He was a 1965 graduate of McFarland High School. Kevin was a retired Finger Identification Supervisor, employed by the New Jersey State Police Headquarters in West Trenton with 32 years of service and also worked at the Farnsworth Deli in Bordentown for 25 years. Mr. Neylan was a member and a Eucharistic Minister at The Church of St. Isaac Jogues, member of the Yapewi Aquatic Club, Bordentown and member and past president of the Tricia Meadows Civic Association. Kevin enjoyed hosting family picnics, cooking, boating and always being there for anyone who needed a helping hand. Most importantly he loved his family and adored his grandchildren. Kevin is survived by his wife of 48 years, Julia Boner Neylan, son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Tanya Neylan, daughter & son in law, Michele & Ray Ceylan, daughter & companion, Megan Neylan & Brian Carroll, brother & sister-in-law, William & Beth Neylan, brother Timothy Neylan, brother & sister-in-law, Patrick & Debbie Neylan, sister, Maureen Poole, sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Betty Ann & Sam Elueteri, grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Koray, Karlie & Brianna and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister-in-law Karen Neylan and brother-in-law Don Poole. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10 AM at The Church of St. Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, NJ 08053.
