Obituary of Mickey Marian

Westampton: Mickey Marian, age 75 of Westampton, New Jersey entered his eternal life on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in the company of his loving wife. Mr. Marian was born in Roebling to the late Elias Marian and Elizabeth Cupsie Marian. He was proud to call Roebling his home for the majority of his life before moving to Westampton. Mr. Marian retired from the Florence Township Board of Education after 24 years of faithful service in the Florence Township Schools maintenance department. Mickey enjoyed the simple joys in life, which included tending to his garden and always taking advantage of sharpening his Country Line Dancing skills. He was a life member of the Florence Township Fire Department, member of the Westampton Fire Department, the Fire Police Association and the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Lumberton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Elias and George Marian and Florence Pennisi. Mickey was survived by his sister, Helen Marian who passed away on July 15, 2023 and he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cathy Seidelmann Marian, sons and a daughter-in-law, Al Seidelmann and Carl and Laura Seidelmann. Additionally, he is survived by and was “Pop Mick” to his grandchildren, Aaron, Tori, Jacob, Joshua, Joel, Olivia, Carl Jr. and Hunter as well as several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his feline bestie, Peaches. Funeral services will be 7:30 PM Wednesday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Avenue, Roebling with Pastor Kevin Cousins officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Fireman’s Ritual will be 6:30 PM Wednesday. Final disposition will be held privately.
