Monday, January 8, 2018Hello! My sympathy to entire Dougherty/Dimon families and fellow friends! I was saddened to learn of Jane's quick failing health? I spent an afternoon with Jane in August; we had a very enjoyable visit; it was really fun. I was sad to learn of her passing and I know many nieces and nephews and all the family will miss her dearly! Jane was a great person; a joy to talk with and she was a good talker! I remember growing up just across the field to all their family; I would visit there often and actually thought of Jane's mom like a grandmother to me? The day I was married; 10/3/70; her mom Mrs. Dougherty had been ill for a few weeks and after our marriage ceremony I had my entire wedding party; park; get out of their cars and line up in Mrs. Dougherty's driveway so she could share in our happiness and see our gowns and the cute guys and gals! She thought that was so great a thing that we did and I was forever thankful that we did do it as Mrs. Dougherty passed away about six weeks later. They would always remind me about us doing that and had always said how Mrs. Dougherty was so happy to see us? I'm forever thankful that I thought of making someone happy; especially her since she could not be with us on our special day. Jane was always so friendly and so pleasant; she enjoyed life and was so proud when speaking of all her nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; they were blessed to have her for their Aunt.I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest sympathy to the entire family. May all the fabulous memories you shared with Jane and all of you together keep you at peace and knowingly in your hearts she loved you; all of you. May God's blessings surround you at this most difficult time. May Jane now rest in the arms of her beloved Father in heaven forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Theresa (Dengler) Giambrone (Manchester, NJ)
