Eleanor A. Linzenbold

Harvey Cedars, Eleanor A. Linzenbold, age 98 of Harvey Cedars, passed away Monday March 26, 2018 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital. Mrs. Linzenbold was born in Roebling and was the daughter of the late Walter and Louise Ricker Echgelmeier. She resided in Harvey Cedars for 37 years and was formerly of Roebling. Eleanor was the Food Service Director, employed by Florence Township Board Of Education, with 21 years of dedicated service. Mrs. Linzenbold was a member and Past President of Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion Unit #39, member and past president of the Burlington County American Legion Unit. Eleanor was appointed the Honorary Mayor of East Salem Avenue, Harvey Cedars on her 90th birthday. She also was on the Recreation Committee, Election Board member for 38 years and was in charge of bands for the annual 4th of July Harvey Cedars Celebration. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Frank "Higgy" Linzenbold, Sr., her son Frank Linzenbold, Jr. and her brother Walter Echgelmeier. She is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & George Shubic, granddaughter & spouse, Kelly & Josh Weiner, granddaughter & spouse, Ashley & Kevin Quinn, granddaughter, Alison Machenzie, granddaughter & spouse, Brooke & William McLean, sister-in-law, Patricia Echgelmeier, great grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Caitlyn and Addison, niece & husband, Toby & Andrew Popso and great niece Aubreigh Poso. Funeral Services will be held privately under the direction of Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors of Roebling.
